About Me

Hi there! My name is Shanna Dillard, and it is with great pleasure that I am the Business Academy School Counselor at Bradley Central High School. I grew up in Cleveland, TN and graduated from the Bradley County Schools system. I received my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and my Masters in Counseling from Southern Adventist University.

I have wanted to work in a school setting for as long as I can remember. As a little girl I would even use my parents, friends, and toys as "students". I wanted to play school as often as I could. My dream finally came true in July 2016, just two months after graduation. I am so thrilled to be working at Bradley.

I am very excited for the future of our school. Before my role as a school counselor, I served as a Mental Health Case Manager for two years followed by four years working in child abuse investigations. Bradley Central High School is the best school around, and I am looking forward to seeing the success of our students and faculty.

In addition to being a school counselor, I serve on a variety of committees and teams with Bradley County Schools. You will also find me in the school counselor role at Bradley County Virtual School. I am also a wife, daughter, crafter, traveler, and adventure-seeker. I am active in YMCA activities, and enjoy running my small business, The Oak Market.
